LEE VALLEY WHITE WATER CENTRE

The Club runs regular trips to the Lee Valley White Water Centre offering training opportunities with one of our whitewater coaches or river leaders on either the Legacy Course or the mighty Olympic Course.  We currently have 3 coaches that can coach and lead groups on the Legacy Course and can accommodate up to 2 students per coach! These sessions are a fantastic introduction to white water at Grade 2+/3 and are open to anyone at Intermediate Level 2, Paddle Explore or 2* level upwards.  When you achieve a level of satisfactory competence, you can take the LVWW Assessment which will allow you to paddle outside of a coached group.  We charge £tbc (£tbc for non-members) for a 1 or 1.5 hour session on the Legacy Course with a coach, including the use of club boats, kit and transport. Sessions are advertised through the Club Newsletter and bookings are strictly by e-mail to phil@phoenixcanoeclub.co.uk no more than 6 days in advance.

Purpose of Trip: Whitewater Coaching, Recreational, Fitness

Minimum Ability Level: Intermediate Level 2, Paddle Explore or 2 Star with 2 hours low level whitewater experience

Equipment: Free use of Club gear and boats or use your own suitable equipment
