Phoenix Canoe Club membership for 2025/26 with low annual subscription rates, combined with Pay n’ Play for Sunday Club between 1pm and 4pm – £6 for Junior members and £9 for Senior members. Non-members with a minimum of Kayak level 1 or equivalent can take part in “Supervised Sessions” at £12 for youth from 9-17 and £18 for adults. There is no visit charge for members attending a course, as the cost will be included in the course fee. For 2025/26 we have also added “Platinum Membership” as a one-off payment for membership and unlimited Sunday Club sessions. Choose the one that best suits you. To take out membership you need to be at our Introductory Level 1 Kayak or Canoe (Paddle UK Paddle Discover or One Star) or above. All participants on river trips must be Phoenix Canoe Club members.
You can join at any time, however, you need to provide details of your personal paddling awards before taking part in activities or sessions. Annual Membership is by payment of annual subscription from 1st April – 31st March. We have varying membership rates for Junior (9-17), Senior and Concessions as well as a Family Membership rate. Our members can enjoy a wide range of activities throughout the year with most Sundays from April to December, UK river trips all year round, adventurous kayak trips to the French Alps or Slovenian Julien Alps and winter pool sessions. NEW for 2025/26 – Affiliated Youth Group Membership for groups that have done a Kayak Level 1 or 2 with us – contact Phil for more details. Your group can attend as individuals or a group on Sunday Club Members sessions by payment of the Junior Club Day visit.

Please use the bookings page to complete the forms and payments – we will update your records when PayPal or BACS, payments appear in our account. PayPal is our preferred method of payment.
When you book onto a course, we need to capture certain personal information. We need this so that we can contact you and be aware of any particular needs to run the session or course effectively and safely. We hold information digitally and in sometimes in hard copy for all of our registered club members, including address, telephone contacts, e-mail address and declared health information. This information is restricted to system administrators and not disclosed to any other agencies.
Please advise the Duty Coach of any health problems that may affect you during normal Club sessions. We will ask you at Membership renewal to check and update any information that we hold on the bookings page. Please inform us at any time if the information we have needs updating. We have a weekly Newsletter that is sent by email to all members detailing forthcoming events and activity reports. Members are free to advertise in the newsletter and put forward articles and reports. You can subscribe to the mailing list by adding your e-mail in the Sign Up box at the bottom of the page.
