Bushcraft Adventures

Our Bushcraft Adventures are available for all schools, youth and community groups to get out and experience the great outdoors with a wide range of activities. This is an inspiring educational approach focused on children, fostering holistic development ideally through consistent sessions. This program, encourages play, exploration, and safe risk-taking. By engaging learners in hands-on experiences within a natural environment, it cultivates confidence and self-esteem based on their own interests and initiative.

Our activities are generally suitable for 9 years upwards, and some activities may be suitable for slightly younger children. We are based at our headquarters in Woodfield Park and around the beautiful Welsh Harp Open Space, next to the Welsh Harp reservoir – a Site of Special Scientific Interest. We respect the local ecology and base our activities on a “leave no trace” ethic so that everyone can enjoy the area.

The programme is based on two-hour sessions and can be adapted to suit your needs. Activities can include exploring, nature, climbing, building dens, artwork, bush craft, teamwork, games, ropes and knotting, (plus lighting fires and cooking in our compound). We can offer anything from a one-off taster session to a series of sessions that can cover a range of the activities available. These sessions are available all year – come and experience the different seasons. Contact us to discuss your booking options.
