ADULT PADDLES

This is a series of trips just for the adults (18+) who have Introductory Level 1, Paddle Discover or One Star, flat water paddles with a stop at a pub (or Tea Room) for lunch or at the end of the trip. No kids showing off, no tantrums (unless it’s your round or you’re the nominated driver), just a steady pace and great company. The paddle routes are based on the book “Pub Paddles” by Peter Knowles and other local favourites and will vary in length and location – sign up to the Phoenix Canoe Club mailings to keep updated on the trips. Some trips may be more expensive depending on distance, river permits etc and we will update costs as soon as we can. We have reduced the amount of “Adult Paddles” and supplemented them with “River Dash” paddles for 2022 to include various locations and grades of water – open to all that qualify.

Sunday 15th October 2023 – £15 adults / £20 non-members – Marlow, Thames (previously advertised as 1st October)

Sunday 10th December 2023 – £15 adults / £20 non-members – St. Patricks Stream, Thames

Purpose of Trip: Recreation, Sightseeing, Fitness 

Minimum Ability Level: Introductory Level 1, Paddle Discover or 1 Star with no whitewater experience

Equipment: Free use of Club gear and boats or use your own suitable equipment
