The FS&RT course will cover all aspects of the award and involves theory and plenty of practical experience – this is a very wet session and entrants will be expected to act as both rescuer and patient. The course is open to minimum Level 2 Intermediate / Paddle Explore Award / 2 Star paddlers to ensure that you have the required experience – there is no minimum age restriction for this course. The FSRT is a pre-requisite of attendance on BC Paddlesport Instructor or Coach Training courses. We have 12 places available on each course and will be on a first come, first served basis.
The full FSRT course syllabus can be viewed here.
Cost: £50 for young people under 18 and £65 for adult PCC members (£65/£85 to non-members) and the award certificate is an extra £6 for BC members and £12 for non-BC members (or BC cost at time of award)
